Translational
Research Project Description:
Our lab is dedicated to discovering small molecules that target TDP-43, a protein implicated in ALS and Alzheimer’s disease. We utilize advanced biophysical techniques such as NMR, SPR, and high-resolution imaging, along with fruit fly models for in vivo testing. Students will be immersed in studying this system from in silico design to in vivo testing, with opportunities to leverage AI tools to analyze drug perturbations across various biological systems.
