Research Project Description:
We are preparing a comprehensive review article focused on the updated FIGO 2025 staging system and management recommendations for gynecological malignancies. The project will emphasize the imaging implications of the new staging criteria, multidisciplinary clinical integration, and emerging therapeutic considerations.
The medical student will participate in:
Literature review and synthesis of recent FIGO 2025 updates
Comparative analysis of prior versus updated staging systems
Development of tables and summary algorithms
Assistance with figure preparation and imaging correlation
Manuscript drafting and reference management
This project offers exposure to oncologic imaging, multidisciplinary cancer care, academic writing, and publication processes. The goal is submission to a peer-reviewed radiology or oncology journal.
