Medical Student Research Day Celebration 2021
Since 2016, we have participated annually in the Celebration of Research Day event coordinated by the Office of Research Affairs. However, due to COVID the event is not planned to take place this year. Therefore, the decision has been made by the MSRP office to host our own Medical Student Research Day via Zoom. This event will be held on 2/16 from 5:30-6:30pm. Applications are now being accepted and will remain open till midnight February 8th.

Medical Student Research Awards
Tuesday, March 9, 2021 5pm
Students will give a short presentation to a small group of peers and one faculty judge. Each student will have 3 minutes to make the presentation and 2 minutes for questions. Creating a short, focused presentation can be challenging, and the following video provides some information on how this can be accomplished (Creating a 3-min quick shot presentation). The judges will deliberate the top presentations immediately following the last presentation. A select number of students will be invited to present their posters the following night, February 17th from 5:30-6:30pm in front of 4-5 judges. The winners will be announced the following day and will be presented an award at the Medical Student Research Awards which will be held on Tuesday, March 9th at 5pm via Zoom.
